International Opportunities
International Service Elective
The International Service Elective was established in 2013 to allow an upper-level resident in training at The Campbell Clinic Foundation to experience delivery of orthopaedic care in an under-served area, including another country. With support from the Molly Shumate Community Service Scholarship, this 2-week externship allows cultivation of international relationships, fosters academic and scientific exchange for the betterment of orthopaedic patients across the globe and fosters a commitment to volunteerism within the resident. This initiative also aligns with The Campbell Clinic Foundation’s community healthcare outreach activities.
